ABOUT ME

I studied to be a fine artist in college, and over my 10 years in beauty, I’ve honed my artistic talents working with people as my canvas. Makeup feels like drawing and painting, and hair is my version of sculpting. Don’t ask me to pick a favorite!

What inspires your work?

Kaua‘i! Everything I do kind of revolves around the island. I am always in and out of the ocean, surfing, and diving. When I create bridal looks, I try to keep things flowy and breathable. I really love bringing that effortless beauty into the hair and makeup I do for my brides.

Do you experience island fever?

Nope! When I need a dose of creative energy, I take classes to improve my craft and get inspired. I’ve trained with Priscilla Ono (Rihanna’s key makeup artist) and attended international masterclasses with Kristina Gasperas, Kasia Fortuna, and hair styling demos with Steph Brinkerhoff.

What is your signature style?

If casual and flawless had a baby, that’s the aesthetic I go for. I’m super active and a total Libra, which basically means highly detailed and never overdone. Think: kissable lip combos and cheeks naturally flushed and glowing from a perfect touch of makeup and the hike you just went on.
